Privacy Statement

Harvest Texarkana Regional Food Bank Inc respects the privacy of our donors, clients, and friends.  At no time will the information about donors, clients, or friends be shared with outside organizations.  We do not share the lists of our donors, except with Feeding America and only then for the purpose of removing these donors from their potential solicitation lists to avoid duplication of solicitation.  Donor lists are never sold or shared with other organizations. 

Any information, personal or financial, collected from donors, clients, or friends will only be used by Harvest Texarkana Regional Food Bank for the purpose communication with these donors, clients or friends.  Information about donors is provided to our accountant for the purpose of verifying that donations are used as intended and for reporting, when and as required, by governmental authorities. 

Anyone can request their contact information, maintained for communication, be added or removed from electronic or physical mail distribution lists at any time by emailing harvesttxk@cableone.net.   

Names, and only names, of donors may be published in our annual report.  Any donor wishing to have his or her name withheld from this publication may request to have their name withheld by emailing Harvest Texarkana at harvesttxk@cableone.net. 

Personal information about clients is not collected and retained for any purpose except when providing food directly to clients to ensure that any dietary restrictions are met for their own personal health and safety.  Statistical demographic information may be collected, with no reference to actual client identification, for the purpose of reporting and funding solicitation.  Personal information about clients is never shared with anyone outside of Harvest Texarkana Regional Food Bank, Inc.
