Donate Food

Food donations are a critical source of food for Harvest Texarkana.  Food drives are a fun way to get coworkers, classmates, friends and rivals involved in the fight against hunger.

Donors making food donations given in good faith are provided a level of protection for liability due to state and federal Good Samaritan laws.  Food Banks can accept any commercially produced food, home grown produce, and fresh game that is processed by licensed processors.  Harvest Texarkana cannot accept home canned or frozen fruits and vegetables or home processed meats. 

Food Donations can be taken to authorized drop off locations or brought to the food bank.  For larger quantities or food drive donations, a pick-up can be arranged by calling the Food Bank in advance at 870-774-1398.
