Thanks to funding from the Blue and You Foundation for a Healthier Arkansas, Harvest Texarkana was able to strengthen their efforts to provide nutrient-rich fresh produce to our clients.  As part of this program, we developed pamphlets about how to store, cook and preserve the highest volume produce items we see.  See each brochure here.

The SesameWorkshop (the nonprofit educational organization behind Sesame Street) has prepared a guide to help families make healthy food choices on a limited budget.  The full program can be found here and includes information about planning menus, talking to your children about limited resources, healthy snacks and so much more.  Resources include games and activity sheets, videos and so much more!  The information is also available in spanish.
