Hold a Fund Drive

Any idea that generates a profit and excitement about fighting hunger is a great idea.  Kids can get involved with bake-sales and car washes.  Walk-a-thons and cook-outs are also popular.  Rummage sales and other events can get the whole community involved.

Due to various state regulations, Harvest Texarkana cannot be involved with events where bingo, drawings, or other games of chance are done for fundraising.

While not required, Harvest Texarkana asks that you complete our Community Benefit Form before hosting a fundraiser.  This way we can help you brainstorm and troubleshoot your event as well as help advertise it.  We can also then vouch for the event if businesses or attendees question whether the proceeds are really going to charity.
