Hunger Action Month

September is National Hunger Action Month. 

The 2011 Hunger Action Month Luncheon is scheduled for Thursday, September 1st at Williams Memorial United Methodist Church at noon.  You may buy tickets to the luncheon, become a Hunger Action Month sponsor, or purchase this years t-shirt  with this form.  Use this form to order t-shirts only.  Please call the Harvest Texarkana office if you have further questions.

Each year, Harvest Texarkana hosts the annual Hunger Action Month Luncheon bringing community leaders, advocates and sponsors together to discuss the local issues associated with hunger and what is being done to address them.  

Additionally, Harvest Texarkana promotes the '30 Ways in 30 Days' to encourage residents to take little steps to fight hunger.  A calendar of daily activities is prepared to help supporters understand that small actions really can make a big difference.  Check out the 2011 CALENDAR.

Harvest Texarkana also sells the annual Hunger Action Month T-shirt as a way for sponsors to show their support.  T-shirts are still available for $10 ($12 for XXL and XXXL) by calling 870-774-1398.
